7:03am
"Are we there yet?" Peter asked another one of his smartass remarks after they had backed out of the lot the Mobile Lab was in.
Lindsay shot Peter a mean look and he went back to looking out the window quietly.
'There She Goes' was playing on the radio, and Lindsay sang quietly to herself. Matt swayed back and forth while driving, somehow keeping the truck steady on the road. Peter sat solemnly, watching the scenery go by, and Jill grew restless.
"Would somebody *please* change the station?" Jill stood up from her seat between Peter and Lindsay in the back and changed the radio station. Limp Bizkit started blasting through the speakers and everyone groaned.
"I thought 'There She Goes' was your favorite song?" Peter asked when the teen took her seat once more.
"I hate that song!" Jill replied, pasting a disgusted look on her face. She started drumming her fingers on the window frame to the somewhat mistakable beat of the 'music' and ignored everyone's skeptical looks.
They soon arrived at the apartment complex. Matt let his passengers out and drove the truck around back to park.
Jill led Peter, Lindsay and Anton into the building. They all stood in the elevator, and Jill pushed the button for her floor. Number 13. The elevator ascended as everyone stood in silence.

Matt walked up to the apartment door and looked at the number suspiciously. This was just getting weirder and weirder. He entered apartment number 13-666 and met the others in the living room.
"You're right, it is strange," Peter was saying to Jill when Matt came in.
"What?" Matt said while walking in the door, not having come in the room yet. "Whoa. That's strange." He stood entranced, with the others in the living room.
Almost the entire wall was a mirror. It was silver-hued and had a kind of distorted look to it. The mirror was perfectly round and had small bumps all over the surface, making everything seem alien.
The Chief Science Analyst, doctor, Case Manager, Senior Data Analyst and teenager stood in front of the mirror, four of them in amazement. They had never seen anything like it, and had never expected to. The mirror seemed to give off a sort of vibe that they all felt, something like an attraction to it. They all had a longing to examine it closer when Jill spoke.
"You should touch it. It doesn't feel like glass; it feels like steel or something."
Peter stepped forward first. This object pulled him in like the Arch they had once investigated, where he had seen his friend, Leon Shraft, inside the energy field. They had studied it for quite awhile before Anton had been pulled in, seeing the images of Catherine and Nicole, his lost wife and daughter.
Pressing his hand against the metal mirror, Peter was amazed. "Come feel this, you guys," he said, wonder in his voice.
Everyone else, including Jill, put their hands on the cool, bumpy surface. They all felt a tremor of coldness before they were transported to the other side.
